Leigh Stokes

Leigh Stokes is a self-taught artist based in the Southern Drakensberg, KwaZulu-Natal. Working across a variety of mediums, she draws inspiration from the rural landscapes, wildlife and people of her region. Her work combines traditional painting techniques with contemporary composition, expressive brushwork and texture, with a strong emphasis on atmosphere, character and storytelling.
