Over our weekly sessions you will:
• Explore essential colour combinations that bring your work to life
• Learn and practise the fundamental techniques of watercolour
• Gradually build confidence as you increase the complexity and size of your paintings

Shabana Sonday

Shabana Sonday is a Cape Town watercolour artist and teacher whose work is inspired by the city’s coastline, gardens and mountain landscapes. Drawing from her time spent hiking, swimming and exploring nature, she brings a deep appreciation for the quiet beauty of the natural world into both her paintings and her teaching.

Her watercolour classes offer a calm and peaceful space to slow down, observe and explore the medium at your own pace. With gentle guidance and encouragement, Shabana helps students develop their skills while finding their own connection to watercolour, nature and the process of painting.
